Website project (Categories and Product page)

Today I would like to show you the design of my categories pages and product page.

Let's start from categories pages.

Men category (Author's work)

Women category (Author's work)

As you may know from my previous posts, my website has 2 category pages (products for men and women). The design of both pages is similar, however I decided to use photos of models, to fill the blank space on the left and the right side. The photos are different on each page.

To split the items between 2 pages I created categories in the product settings. It means, when the item is in the category "men", it will not display on the women page and vice versa. All of the product pictures has been taken from Free Wix Images.

Some of the products on both pages are the same. The reason for that is some of my products are for men and women as well. However, in case of clothes, it is more complicated because the sizes are different for men and women. I will describe it in the next part of my post.

Let's move to the product page.

Product page example (Author's work)

This is an example of my product page. Every product page contains pictures from Free Wix Images. As I mentioned before, some of my products are unisex. To solve the issue with sizes for men and women I included the option to choose sex. My customers can choose the size, colour and version of the product if available.

The product page contains the description and product info as well. User has an opportunity to share my products on social media such as Facebook or Twitter, by using the icons on the bottom.
