Website security

Image
Why encryption is using in case of online transaction? Encryption is translating the data to different form than it is in reality, and make it possible to read only for people, which have a secret key (Lord, 2020). According to Elefant (2011) it is important to encrypt the data in case of online payments, because it makes this data almost imposible to read in terms of any attacks for example "man-in-the-middle" attack. Security of my website. My website is secure by SSL (Secure Socket Layers) technology provided by Wix. It means, all of the data exchanged between the server and customer will be encrypted, which makes even in case of attack, hackers will be not able to decrypt the data. Website project (Categories and Product page)

Image
Today I would like to show you the design of my categories pages and product page. Let's start from categories pages. Men category (Author's work)     Women category (Author's work) As you may know from my previous posts, my website has 2 category pages (products for men and women). The design of both pages is similar, however I decided to use photos of models, to fill the blank space on the left and the right side. The photos are different on each page. To split the items between 2 pages I created categories in the product settings. It means, when the item is in the category "men", it will not display on the women page and vice versa. All of the product pictures has been taken from Free Wix Images. Some of the products on both pages are the same. The reason for that is some of my products are for men and women as well. However, in case of clothes, it is more complicated because the sizes are different for men and women. I will describe it in the next part of m...

Website project (Footer)

Image
This time I would like to present the footer of my website. Website footer (Author's work) My footer is divided into three parts, the same as my header. The left part contains the three buttons with links to other pages, which are required on every e-commerce website such as Terms & Conditions, Shipping & Returns and FAQ. In the future, I would like to develop those three pages and include there information about the store policy, regulations, shipping and return policy and frequently asked question, which I believe will be useful for my customers. The middle part contains my logo created in Wix logo creator. The difference between the logo in the header and the footer is the logo in footer is a square. This part contains the credits as well, which is a common practice on every website. In the right part of my footer, I included an Instagram icon, which contains the link to Colorfully Instagram account.

The photo, which you can see in the picture is associated with my target group, which is young people.  Below the about us section, I decided to show some products. My purpose is to encourage the website viewers and help them to make a choice - are they interested or no. The products section in my body are interactive - user can use the arrows to scroll the products.
